I have a header and the heater boxes.  The header was on a 1776 and instead of clamping on we setup then brazed the pipes together so it would not leak.  I'd think you could grind off the welds if you have a motor where the heads stick out further, guess you'd just have to see it.  I think I ran up about 500 miles or less on the setup before I swapped to something a bit smaller, kinda useless on a 1776  Roll Eyes
